Yo I'm trying to get Snow Leopard 10.6 on my PC and I'm currently encountering this error:

Memory allocation error! Addr: 0xdeadbeef, Size 0 x 0, File: hfs.c, Line: 732

My pc:
Processor: Intel i7 950
Graphics: AMD Radeon 6800 series
Motherboard: Sabertooth x58

I believe my PC is compatitable with OSX 10.6 and installation should work however after I place in my iboot cd then my copy of 10.6 into the machine (i only have 1 cd/dvd drive) I get the above error.

File: hfs.c could be related to your disk, it seems it can't read the filesystem. Have you set you BIOS to use AHCI instead of IDE? Your SATA controller needs to be in AHCI mode to recognize any disks.

I'm not sure what hfs.c is I'm guessing it's related to the HFS+ disk format. For example, I get 0xdeadbeef error with File: ati.c if I try to boot with an unsupported ATI graphic card.
