Very quiet build overall!

I definitely skimped a little on the RAM, so looking back I would have definitely put it at 32GB - you can never have enough RAM when working with software like Avid!

Wifi card and graphics card are natively supported, which definitely saved me a lot of trouble.

Went with the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO again for cooling, as it definitely seems like the best budget air cooler.

I haven’t upgraded from 10.9.1 to 10.9.2 yet solely because of Avid - there’s an Avid/Mavericks compatibility issue on 10.9.2 it seems.

Just for the benefit of other users, you may like to do a couple of screenshots when you have a moment. Maybe the graphics and wifi, from System Profiler.

I always found them useful from looking at other users builds.

the power management of graphic card doesn't work.

I want to know your LAN Speed Test for the WDN4800 wifi. Read a lot of unresolved issues with it. Does your connection drop and does it run on full bandwidth?

Hey soulp0wr,

The office we're running the build in just ran us a faster ethernet connection, so that's what we've been using. Next time I'm over there I'll run the tests on the wifi speed! For the short time that we were using it I didn't notice any problems. I also use the card on my personal Ivy rig (check my sig) and I've never had issues.

First off excellent build  I'm basing mine off of your build.
But i do have a question did you use a DSDT for the Gigabyte Motherboard?
If so where can I download it?

~Thank you again for the video and for the information!

The Gigabyte Z87 motherboards do not need a DSDT to install and run Mavericks. However, if you choose to "fine tune" your configuration, you may wish to create a DSDT using MaciASL. See the DSDT forum section for more information. http://www.tonymacx86.com/dsdt/

Hi, I have similar Build.
The only problem I have now is to get Bluetooth to work, I need restart twice after cold startup (Switch on/off power supply). The every restart is fine, but after complete OFF, have to start twice. Why is that? Any idea how to fix it? Thank you.
