Maximum OS compatibility

I have stayed on 10.8.1 since the beginning but I am experiencing more and more compatibility problems. Can you tell me up to which OS version I can go with this configuration?
- Gigabyte H61N-USB3
- Processor 3,39 GHz Intel Core i5
- Memory 8 Go 1333 MHz DDR3
- Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 Mo

I thought the Intel Graphic 3000 was gonna be a problem.
Can I follow the same procedure as Saganic0 replacing El Capitan with High Sierra?

Are you using Clover or Chimera as a boot loader?

Chimera cannot boot High Sierra, you should change to Clover.

Yes I know, I want tout use Clover but if I use it can I use the same method as Saganic0 but whit High Sierra ?
