Mavericks: Native CPU/IGPU Power Management

For those of you out there with an i5-4440S CPU you have to manually edit SSDT gereneting script adding CPU's info
under Haswell low voltage CPU list:
i5-4440s,65,2800,3300
nice work by the way
 
Not expected as per your statement in post #1 that the tools cannot (somehow?) detect these specific values.

I no longer own the machine.
Actually, AICPUPMI suggests a PM problem. No way to confirm.

Looks just like all my other machines. I see no PM problem. If you want to suggest a specific issue, you see, go ahead.

How you can detect a "PM problem" with a single line of AICPUPMI output is crystal ball territory.
 
Useless. Post #117 did not work. Post #128 says you did a clean install. Set BIOS/Load Optimized Defaults. Restart. Reply with requested files.
Sorry if i didn't express correctly, english is my second language what I mean is that this is a clean install 2 days old, and the over clock was made AFTER post #123

But anyway here are attached again the new files (without overclock)

Version: Mavericks (10.9.2)
Mobo: Z87mx-d3h
CPU:i7-4770K
Bios: F5
VideoCard: GTS250

Loaded bios Optimized defaults, the time stamp relevant on the files is after 1pm

As you can see AICPUPMI only see

Obsolete. Remove the old version. Install the AICPUPMI.kext from Post #1.
Is that kext moded ? Cuz version 4 gives me kernel panic. And it won't let me boot neither -s , -x with the usb installer nothing. I have to uninstall the HD and plug it to other computer so it can be removed.

Edit: Nevermind version 4 created 3/17/2014 doesn't KP. But version 4 created on 1/2/2014 it does invoke KP.

Now everything is working in defaults so I OC to 4.3 and it's working. Thanks.

Not clear why you refuse to use the AICPUPMI version in Post #1. Stock clock report is more useful. Nothing less than 22 is not normal.

Well AICPUPMI from post #1 is version 4 created 3/17/2014 which doesn't panic on boot. So that's the one i'm using right now.


Well there are some bellow 22, but it seems to be hard to get those states. Again loaded defaults in bios.

However I'm not quite sure it's working 100%, because on Intel power gadget I see that it goes down to 1ghz and pass thru 1.3,1.6 and those states are not registered on AICPUMPI

Or now can we say that it's working ? of course ioreg is loading AGPM and X86PlatformPlugin, and console is reporting
