[Solved] Magic trackpad is laggy

Hi,

I've an El Capitan 10.11.3 fully working installation, but I have some issues with my Magic Trackpad (version 1 taken from a iMac Mid 2011). It seems that often is laggy or suddenly accelerates.

I'm using this Bluetooth adapter: http://www.bluetooth-adapter.com/csl-nano-usb-adapter/

I read that one solution could be to set UserKernelCache to No, but I would like to avoid since if I got it right it could slow the boot process.

Any advice?

Thank you.

Ciao.

Buy a new Bluetooth adapter, laggy mouse/trackpad is usually the result of a bad connection between the BT adapter and the trackpad.

The one you have is really small and does not have a very large antenna, this could cause the problem. If you have a usb extension cord, try placing the BT adapter closer to the trackpad.

Thank you for your suggestion, I've just moved it on the desk USB HUB (that it's closer to my trackpad) and it seems to work better now!

Thank you.
