Here is a small summary of my case mods, which I've done during the last couple of years. Enjoy!
iMac G5 A1058 Model - the newest!
I did it again. And of course it's once again a bit more complicated than the previous project...
- Arduino SMC (credit for the first one goes to kiwisincebirth)
- Original LCD, fans, speakers, microphone, PSU
- "Breathing" LED during S3, always on during S0, if screen is dark
- "Apple Chime" Start Melody (also uses both original iMac speakers, switched with relay)
- Hidden NUC splash screen (CCFL Backlight disabled)
- CCFL brightness control via slider applet (credit: kiwisincebirth, enhanced with readings & preferences window by me) or via capacitive touch sensors, hidden left and right of the Apple logo
- PWM controlled original Fans, three DS18B20 temperature sensors with OneWire Bus (one for each Fan)
- WiFi, BT, GLAN, 3x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.0
- Working DVD drive in preparation...

HemiMac G4
This was the most complicated and difficult Mod, which I've ever done... The optical drive is still in use - tight is only the first name! It's equipped with three Picaxe microcontrollers to reproduce the original functions such as a breathing sleep LED.

Non-Mac Mini - fully watercooled
As the title says - It's not a Hackintosh, but still cool!
