MacOS utilities install loop

This is my first time building a hackintosh and after a week of pulling my hair out I feel like I’m almost there... I get to the macOS utilities screen and am able to use disk utility to format all my drives without any issue.

I then click install, agree to the terms and then select the newly formatted drive at this point I’m just presented with the utilities options again and I can go no further.

CPU i9-9900k
GPU 5700xt

Installing mojave and updating solved this.
