i have beta on my macbook 5.2 late 2009 model ddr3 ram core 2 duo, runs great so far, the update beta 2 from the Appstore is hung up on 0 megabytes and reads calculating. i let it go for a couple of hours a few times and no update installed. The app store is telling me I have the update available it just wont download, any thoughts, do i need my redeemer code?

Update: I finally got the downloads completed. I used feedback assistant and sent a note on the download stalling issue, and an hour later it downloaded the updates.

AMD just announced the Radeon PRO WX Polaris 10 & 11 based workstations graphic cards: WX7100; WX5100; WX4100 (Polaris 11) to be available in Q4 2016. Hoping the new Mac Pro 2016 will feature two of these cards and the new Broadwell-E CPU + Thunderbolt 3 ‘Alpine Ridge’ 40Gbps.

If this will be the case, looking forward to a hackintosh build with one of the two Gigabyte mb: GA-X99P-SLI; GA-X99-Designare EX (both Intel Thunderbolt 3 Certified X99 Motherboards) + AMD RX480, RX460

Let’s see if Sierra brings support for Polaris cards…

Your macbook (5,2) is Mid 2009 model, therefore not compatible.

Gigamaxx's issue is probably unrelated to that. This is a common problem with PB2 download, here is the solution:

https://forums.developer.apple.com/thread/51086

1. Start the update in App Store
2. Download the 4 following files:

http://swcdn.apple.com/content/down...67z6nz8qih2qb97oqz46pccu9a/FirmwareUpdate.pkg

http://swcdn.apple.com/content/down...z6nz8qih2qb97oqz46pccu9a/FullBundleUpdate.pkg

http://swcdn.apple.com/content/down...qih2qb97oqz46pccu9a/OSXUpd10.12PublicBeta.pkg

http://swcdn.apple.com/content/down...b97oqz46pccu9a/OSXUpd10.12PublicBetaPatch.pkg

3. Move the 4 files into /Library/Updates/031-68146
4. Restart your Mac
5. Update through App Store

Beta 2 stopped HDMI audio working on my 6850. Kext is loaded, but nothing shows up in the sound output list. Anyone had a similar experience?

*edit* it worked perfectly in beta 1.

The cutoff for compatibility is the MacBook 5.1, I have the 5.2 with an 850 evo and 6g ram, soon to be 8g. It's up,and running great, love the Siri.

Hi. I installed Beta 2 clean today, everything is working except audio. When I install Voodoo I have big noise from every input. But sound works. I can't install alc_120 script too. How to fix it? I really need sound working :X. I have Realtek 892. Thanks
