Thx for your reply! allready got it working (also without the webdrivers, because they dont support pb1 yet)Try boot with flag nv_disable=1 and if you are using one of this Smbios (macpro6,1, imac15,1 or imac17,1) you need to patch/edit applegraphicscontrolkext. Install the supported nvwebdrive, change the boot flag nvda_drv=1 and reboot. Doing this, its suppose not have more black screen until the next updade.
Hi Guys this problem has been driving me nuts but have finally found my answer. I have an Nvidia 660Ti graphics card.
Firstly edit AppleGraphicsControl.kext and add your Mac Board ID. Open config.plist with Clover Configurator click on SMBIOS and read what Board ID says.
Then edit AppleGraphicsControl.kext and add your Mac board ID, don't forget to add none. I use MacBookPro9,2 and it was not listed. Once I added it in saved it and loaded it with kext wizard. and rebooted my graphics card was showing correctly.
I also added in Clover boot loader CsmVideoDxe-64. In config.plist under "System Parameters" I added NvidiaWeb=true. Under boot Arg I did not add Nvda_drv=1
Hope this info helps
just downloaded the installer.
won't install until new multibeast
just got 10.11.6 update
i will backup ant wait
installed on a cloned drive
installed ok
nvidia web driver works on my nvidia 750ti
only audio and lan not working (realtek 81xx , 892)
currently using zonenet usb wifi and usb audio for now
tried new multibeast to fix these issues to no avail
a work in progress.....
I'm currently on "El Captain" Switched to 14,2. App Store downloaded the upgrade. On restart to install update, it reboots right back into El Captain. The reboot is routine in nature when the upgrade reboots. In other words, the upgrade is not working.
Ideas...
currently on 10.11.6
thanks
Did you follow each step and select the correct drive?
