The table in #1 shows "TBA" for Coffeelake
As of this date, no native Coffee Lake desktops exist; no native CPU PM support
Is this the same problem here? Powermanagement? Whispering is annoying
GPU PM is available.
No files attached, no idea.

Hi!
I have i8700, gtx1070ti on 10.13.6, iMac14.2
The problem is that in the idle mode - the fans of GTX are spinning on (for a second) and off constantly.
Can this problem be solved by AGPM, e.g. by changing the g-states?

PS: Tried to change the kext, nothing happens..
AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext is lot loaded in extensions report (about Mac).
PPS: Maybe it's just the broken graphic card.
Thanks.

AGPM does not control fan speed, it manages power.

I got it running!
And I know that AGPM can't manage speed fan. But theoretically if we disable state 3 (idle) of the card, the problem with the fan should go away?
I will post more files and screenshots soon.
Thanks.

Your graphics supports 16 power states; why did you decide state 3 is idle?
Contact the graphics card manufacturer
I wonder can smth like min-power-state help?
