I have native GPU PM working from the beginning (at least what IOReg says), however, fans on my Sapphire Nitro RX 480 are constantly spinning. Not at the max, but spinning, while in Windows this card is able to work without fans while idle.

Has somebody else noticed the same glitch? Probably that feature is reserved to Windows only drivers.

macOS PM has nothing to do with fan speed; VBIOS, off topic.

if cpu shows up as unknown, does it mean there will be no power management of any sort even if I'm using nvidia web drivers? Thanks

edit1: seems I can use FakeCPUID (clover) to fake my CPU. would that help? My CPU is E5-2650L which is part of Sandy Bridge family.

edit2: nevermind. seems this guide support Ivy Bridge+ only.
