How can i fix cpu PKG power using ? i7 7700HQ , it use 2.18W for base using in mac os ....

  1. My CPU freq gets higher than it should be, it should be 3300 Hz at max, but I see 3400 Hz. Computer reboots when CPU works for too long with this frequency - in a few seconds after Spotlight indexing starts.
  2. My config is 10.15/Asrock H61m-VG3/i5-2500k/Saphire Radeon RX 570 Nitro+
  3. I installed ssdt_xcpm.aml with PluginType=YES
Everything worked fine on Sierra. I guess I need to limit CPU frequency somehow.

Added:
sysctl -n machdep.xcpm.mode returns 0, does it make any sense?

Well, it seems the crash is not connected with Power Management. I set "Generate PStates" flag and now I don't see 3400 Hz anymore. But the crash is still there :(

@toleda I've got a system with a 6700k, but using iMacPro 1,1 definition as I'm using an RX580GPU. Is using the correct system definition for my CPU required to get native PM working? Is there any way I could get PM working using this system definition? Thank you.
