Updated without problems but with HD4000 not supported its laggy. Need to patch it or add a dGPU.

Couple of reboots and about an hour but otherwise painless with OC 74.

Easy with OC 0.7.4. I needed to disable "HS80211Family.kext" (not work on Monterey) and i had to fix bluetooth with this! (i have a bluetooth usb dongle).

Upgraded from BigSur to Monterey using OC 7.0.4. First try.

First time using OC, have been a Clover user for a while now.

My wifi card doesn't work which used to work with BigSur and I don't have lan in my room. So completely disconnected for now in-terms of Network. And some USB ports don't work.

Otherwise GPU works and Audio works through HDMI. Will tinker with Lan and Wifi when I get time and also need to change the bootloader to load other OSes like BigSur, Catalina, etc. when I get more time.

I would be very interested to hear from others of their experience regarding this feature if this is also the same for them or is this a glitch on my setup.

I've heard this from so many people (BT problems and Monterey) that it's certainly not a glitch in your setup. What we need is a whole new thread in Monterey Desktop Support for people going through BT problems in Monterey.

Main point for potential upgraders: If you rely on smoothly functioning Bluetooth for your everyday workflow or even Professional CustoMac use....

As most of the elder, experienced members here suggest, hold off on the upgrade till at least the .3 update of Monterey. If you can't wait, keep a Big Sur SSD or partition active in your hack to go back to.
