At today's Apple event, Tim Cook announced that the release date of macOS Mojave will be September 24, 2018. A Golden Master GM version is expected to be released imminently to Developers and Beta testers.

Will old machines be supported like high sierra?

The following Macs will to be able to upgrade and download Mojave.
  • MacBook (Early 2015 or newer)
  • MacBook Air (Mid 2012 or newer)
  • MacBook Pro (Mid 2012 or newer)
  • Mac mini (Late 2012 or newer)
  • iMac (Late 2012 or newer)
  • iMac Pro (2017)
  • Mac Pro (Late 2013, plus mid-2010 and mid-2012 models with recommended Metal-capable GPU)

I think it seems mean ivy bridge or newer can be hacked.

The problem is with AMD GPUs like the ones from 2011, you have to disable them so you're stuck with Intel HD3000...
 
installed that one but the beta text is gone (about this mac) looks like a GM.

Nice- maybe they release the Public Beta in a few days with the GM moniker.
