MacOS: Light Mode or Dark Mode?

I work in a blacked-out color bay and prefer the most brightest screen to be the main reference monitor. On my GUI monitors, it is very nice to have dark mode now to save my eyes from blinding white pages in Finder and Mail.

I like dark mode because I have a lot of Auralex a few feet in front of me behind the monitors. I also use night-shift if I'm not doing something that requires accurate color. My machine is mainly for Pro Tools 2018.12 and Vienna Symphonic Library stuff.

i like dark mode, but i think would be worked on it, because it missing some details. thats why i used only sometimes.

For now I prefer light, because dark hasn't been refined yet. It needs more subtlety.

I remember Photoshop Elements 7 had a darkness slider allowing much more colour control. Then with version 8 they went for just light or dark and it was nowhere near as useful or good looking.

Hopefully Apple are working on improving the dark theme and then maybe ...

Dark, I prefer working in low light and dark mode feel a lot less distracting. Unfortunately, a lot of apps art optimized for it.
