Wiki is inaccurate. The setting appears to affect cosmetics only.

IDK about CPU frequency, but BusSpeedKHz indeed does something!

I had a value set that matched my speed and everything was fine until I decreased my overclocked bus speed by 2MHz. It seemed like nothing but the clock would delay by several minutes a day. I deleted the value and let clover calculate the speed and now everything's fine.

But yes, that setting made a difference in my hack's clock.

Definitely.
My comments were regarding CPUFrequencyMHz only (I think it was pretty clear).
BusSpeedKHz is a whole different animal.

A new surprise problem on beta 6. Ethernet is not working. It works on the Safari on the booted installation drive, but not on the installed OS.

If upgrading from beta 5 to 6 move network kext from L/E/ to desktop and reboot and putback network kext again.

I always prefer Config.plist & ACPI HotPatching over Kext installation, i like to have my Installation as "Vanilla" as possible.
If DRM content now works without IntelGraphicsFixUp.kext that would be really awesome.
That would mean i won't need Shiki.kext; Lilu.kext; IntelGraphicsFixUp.kext.
Less Patches on Kernel & Kext Patches section.
High Sierra seems to be a major OS Update for the Hackintosh Community.

where have you read these infos?
is this working even with hd530-hd630?

Install high sierra beta 7 on your hard drive. Boot into Hard Disk Error ....

Hi Rehabman the creation of usb installation media is the same as your NUC6 guide right?

createinsallmedia. The path of the app is different (currently "/Applications/
Install macOS High Sierra Beta.app").

You can also use "/Applications/Install macOS High Sierra Beta.app/Contents/Resources/startosinstall".
It provides a nice option to skip converting to APFS.

Alright I followed your nuc guide for creating the USB media. But how about post installation?

Post-install process is covered in the NUC guide, post #1.
Further discussion should happen in the guide thread, not here.

Are there any new errors like in Sierra with Brightness kext failing, or Trackpad/Keyboard issues? Graphical glitches?

Or are there just improvements so far? I'm considering upgrading.
