Fresh install successful. Thanks Tonymac!!!!

I had to format the SSD with HS Beta 4. Before that, High Sierra wouldn't see the SSD. After formatting, High Sierra saw the SSD.

iMessage required Pilgrim's guide for iMessage (had to install EmuVariableUefi-64 in Clover).

GA-Z270X-UD5. i7-7700K. Samsung 960 Pro NVMe 2 TB. 64 GB DDR4-2400. Dual Vega Frontier Edition. BCM94360CD WiFi+BT. Sonnet 10 gigabit ethernet. FakeSMC. APFS (no fear, time machine backups).

I've installed High Sierra but no audio no matter what I do and only some USB ports working. Tried reinstalling with kexts with KextBeast and with Multibeast. No luck. Can someone help?

Graphics working like a charm. I'm using the GeForce GTX 1060 3GB SSC. I downloaded the new NVIDIA driver and there were no issues.

Smooth upgrade , and sound even works with HDMI. Didn't take much to get it working, thumbs up for the easy to follow guide

did a fresh install and gotta say it was the easiet ive ever done in the last 5 years - no problems at all - and this on my old setup.
10/10 would fresh install again

How did you make the new installation? how did you create your bootable USB kel for you fresh install? I can not do it.
