Today Apple released macOS High Sierra Supplemental Update, the first major update to macOS High Sierra. Update any supported system using the built-in Software Update functionality through the Mac App Store, or by using the standalone installer available from Apple.com.

Be sure to back up any important data, and if possible clone your hard drive before applying the update. If you have any issues post-update, press spacebar, and boot using Safe Mode.

What we know about 10.13 Supplemental Update so far...
  • macOS Build 17A405
  • Updated apfs.efi
  • Updated Intel, NVIDIA, and AMD graphics drivers
  • This update will replace your audio drivers. If you enabled Realtek onboard audio using MultiBeast or the cloverALC script, no changes will be necessary.
  • Install macOS High Sierra App has been updated - If you downloaded macOS High Sierra from the App Store prior to today, and you want to have the latest version on your backup installer USB, simply log into the Mac App Store and click Download. The updated Install macOS High Sierra App can be found in the Applications folder.
Testing is now underway- this post will be updated. Good luck, and let us know how it goes! Report your results here.

There is also a supplementary update that showed up 10/4/2017 on my machine for 10.12.6 but it was listed a Beta 2017-001 and changed the build number to 16G1023. My Nvidia Web drive no longer worked and there probably will never be a version that will unless they come out with a non-beta supplementary. I have edited the NVDAStartup kext plist value for required os to 16G1023 from 16G29. it now runs but still exhibits glitches at login till it settles down after the desktop builds. I have no idea how I got this update as it is not listed in Apples master list and my other machines did not show this available. I did download last beta of High Sierra for possible install but later removed the beta apps required to do this. Maybe this machine and I are still looked at as a beta tester and this supplementary was offered to me and I did not notice it was beta.

Working here!
1) Download Combo Update
2) Updated Clover
3) Updated AFI with link in this thread
4) Unistall Nvidia - reboot
5) Install combo update - reboot twice
6) Install Nvidia Web Drivers - reboot

On my Hack both audio and graphics came back perfect

Hope this helps

Thank you all

Went to install the update it restarted now every time it gets into clover and boots to the drive it gets halfway and then it restarts any ideas?
Uninstall the Nvidia web driver if its there, seems to cause problems.

Hi guys, i need help with my hackintosh. When i running Mac OS 10.13 supplemental update standalone installation i have an infinity bootloop. SafeMode not working, nvda_drv=1 not working.... I saw "Your computer will restart because of problem, please wait a couple second or press the button to continue", i click enter or space button, apple logo will shown with progress bar and restart. Any time that looks the same behaviour... What can i do with this? I have no system backup...

Sorry for my english, it's not so good as i wish to...

I will follow this:

It worked smoothly for me. I did those steps:
1. Uninstall the Nvidia Web Driver through the control panel.
2. Mount the EFI-Partition and replace the apfs.efi in /EFI/Clover/drivers64UEFI/ with the new one: apfs.efi.zip
3. Start downloading the update and restart.
4. When you see the Clover menu, choose Mac OS Install not Mac OS. If you do that, you will end up on the same version as before.
5. When your Computer restarts and you are able to lock back in, go and start downloading and install the new Nvidia Web Driver.
6. Restart and it should work.
New Nvidia Web. Driver: https://images.nvidia.com/mac/pkg/378/WebDriver-378.10.10.10.15.117.pkg
Hope you succeed

Awesome, Thanks limyingpio! This worked great for me, just reinstalled ACL-1150 to get my audio working. :headbang:

Been updating successful since 10.11.3. So I figured, this should be another few min....

Wrong :banghead:

This update got me with my pants on my knees. Believing it works like 10.12 ...

So, after rolling back from CCC, here are my steps:

1. Uninstall the Nvidia Web Drivers (I did not change the NvidiaWeb flag in the clover config file. Left it at true)
2. Restart
3. Copy new Apfs.efi to Clover folder.
4. Ran the update through AppStore
After restart.
Another surprise here too: At restart, boot into macOS install. At end another restart
Now boot your macOs

5. Download latest Nvidia Web driver, install and restart
6. Install audio using Toleda script audio_cloverALC-130_v0.3.command. Run and restart
