macOS High Sierra 10.13 Supplemental Update

DO NOT INSTALL if you use nvidia web drivers. nvidia web drivers incompatible. You will go into a kernel panic loop from nvidia drivers i they are present after installing this update. Even if you disable them in options. Thank god I had a full cloned backup, so I can now uninstall them completely to make make volume bootable again.

The panic looks like this FYI

*** Panic Report ***

Confirmed. I had literally just rebooted from installing my drivers after literally JUST upgrading and set back to 0x67. Booted to full accelerated desktop, download started which I hadn't noticed, said it was restarting me and my brand new fully working build was hosed in an instant.

Lasted the time it took to download.

:) If it wasn't so morale crushing it'd be funny. On the upside, the last Web Drivers worked perfectly on my build.

LOLOLOL Oh my....................

So, clone back 10.12.6 and update....again. I never got as far as cloning 10.13 lol.

So now we await new WebDrivers amirite? How are you going to uninstall them @MysticalOS, I have a bootable volume I can use, but could use some guidance.

Installed. Completely borked my clover it looks like. Can't even boot into my backup clones. :/

If anyone have issues with installing, and are using the NVIDIA Web Drivers, uninstall it first (also any copy of NvidiaGraphicsFixup, Lilu and Shiki).

I have a second bootable drive in my box, thankfully, (SSD vs NVMe) and was able to manually uninstall the drivers..

In Library/Extensions, and System/Library/Extensions, delete NVDA* & Geforce*

This allowed me to boot back up with no issues, other than not accelerated, and only one monitor, obviously... anxiously waiting on new drivers.. :p

They don't work. Shows "not compatible" in the system settings.

Also build number is: 10.13 (17A405)

For me wouldn't even boot, just kernel panicked with the previous web drivers. Had to go to integrated graphics until there's an update. Couldn't disable the web driver either, had to disable the the whole card.

how do I delete an already downloaded update? If I restart now it will update and I don't want it to.

Anyone knows where the updates are stored?

(I found out. If anyone needs to do this just delete everything inside the updates folder in MacHD/Library/Updates)

phewww I was sweating

If you already installed update but haven't rebooted. good luck. I'd toss nvidia kexts before reboot, cause you can't really undo it. heck it creates an entirely new partition you're stuck with until update runs it's course and removes it.

No, I just downloaded it not installed it. It was waiting for restart and I didn't want to restart. Now it shows update and update all.
