Hi,
It has been 4 years since my first custo-Mac. I used to play network video games on Win, like World of Warcraft (WOW). It had taken much of my life time. Years after years, my only capacity is to play WOW.
It was the macOS that changed everything. I got started to switch from game mode to office mode and macOS is perfect for office. However, it is the gusto-Mac building and installation process that fulfills with challenges. This challenge makes my brain changed from game-playing mode to learn and practice mode. I got started to become a person who are eager to learn, yes, life-long learning began at that time.
Start from that, macOS improved everything except gaming. I got my own server, I got my Wordpress blog (self-hosted), I got my own websites. Fortunately, macOS, Unix, and Linux deviated from a common ancestor system. I learned lots of Unix and Unix-like server skills and experiences. Now I plan to build my second gusto-Mac, as a router and a all-in-one server.
