Pre Update Notes
:
- This update may break some of your Ventura functions. Make sure you backup first.

Note: Before you update:
- Clover users must first disable or remove BlueToolFixup.kext in order to update. Otherwise the software update doesn't initialize it crashes System 'Settings'.
- make sure your USB ports are properly mapped. I recommend you use this procedure:

Here's the step by step way to update OC:
- Make sure you use the latest versions of the Lilu.kext, AppleALC.kext and WhateverGreen.kext.

:ch:
Backup your current installation using Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper;

:ch:
Update to the latest Clover or OpenCore 1.0.0 or newer.
See the tonymacx86 Clover Builds (in Download menu) to update Clover. To update your OpenCore, see this guide. To convert from Clover to Open Core, see this guide.
:ch: Download OCAuxiliaryTools (OCAT):
https://github.com/ic005k/OCAuxiliaryTools
:ch: Follow the OCAT Guide:
https://github.com/5T33Z0/OC-Little-Translated/blob/main/D_Updating_OpenCore/README.md
:ch: After completing the Update, reboot.
:ch: Upon reaching the Desktop, open the Terminal and execute:
Code:
nvram 4D1FDA02-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B30102:opencore-version
Confirm you have updated OC to 0.9.4 or newer.

:ch:
Download the Ventura 13.7. Update from Apple's Mac App Store using System Preferences > Software Update, and run it - the updater will reboot upon completion.
Note: Update will reboot two times; each time Clover/OpenCore picks the correct boot partition. So, sit back and relax.

:ch:
Done! So far, another easy update!

Went ok, Opencore 1.0.1. Refused to install from the downloaded patch update. Had to download and install full 12gb disk image. The last 3 updates have been like this.

Success on PowerMac G5 "Grand Mac." I don't want to give up my working Broadcom WiFi/Bluetooth and I'm not interested in OCLP, so it looks like I'm going to be with Ventura for a while.

This is my second 13.7 update, the first was version (22H121) which leads me to think it was a beta version even though it was not presented as such. Nevertheless it was probably one of my shortest updates and more importantly no issues at all.

Updated today and nothing to mention. It works as it should. No worries ,no troubles. Only 600 MB aprox. of update. I have written in Sequoia post a while ago that I feel Ventura faster than Sequoia. I must admit that Sequoia is nicer visually spoken and with new features but, truly, I don´t use those new features.I prefer performance over visual aspects and last features and I think Ventura does.

Downloading the full package right now (I always prefer to have the complete installer backuped on an external disk)... I'll report back!
