macOS 13.4 Update

Updated without any issues on OC 0.9, few reboots and done. Lost Bluetooth in process, other than that it works fine. After upgrade, upgraded OC to 0.9.2 also without any issues.

The following serves to enable bluetooth in macOS Ventura 13.4+ for Broadcom & Intel Bluetooth

1. Navigate to the NVRAM > Add > 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82 section in your config.plist file and add the two child items:
Key Type Value
bluetoothInternalControllerInfo Data 00000000 00000000 00000000 0000
bluetoothExternalDongleFailed Data 00

2. Update BlueToolFixup from BrcmPatchRAM 2.6.7

3. Reboot and Reset NVRAM then boot again normally

The fix is now working for both Intel and Broadcom Bluetooth, but the official acidanthera BrcmPatchRAM needs to be updated first. A test version is available at Github here:

While we wait for the official release, I attached the BrcmPatchRAM-2.6.7.zip to this post for reference.
I don't know why, but the pull request with this fix was closed without merging by the author. So, as of now, the official acidanthera BrcmPatchRAM will not be receiving this update.

Why some are having problems with Bluetooth and other dont? For me is working fine!

Please note: BrcmPatchRAM has now been officially updated to v2.6.7. The BlueToolFixup.kext included is now fully working with macOS 13.4

Update from Monterey 12.6.6 directly to Ventura 13.4 with OC 0.9.2 without problems
