Today Apple released macOS 13.2 Update, a major software update for macOS Ventura. Update any supported system using the built-in Software Update functionality through macOS System Settings.

What we know about 13.2 so far...

• macOS Build 22D49
• Updated graphics, audio drivers
• Install macOS Ventura App has been updated - If you downloaded macOS Ventura from the App Store prior to today, and you want to have the latest version on your backup installer USB, simply log into the Mac App Store and click Download. The updated Install macOS Ventura App can be found in the Applications folder.

macOS Ventura 13.2 Restart Required

This update introduces Security Keys for Apple ID, and includes other enhancements and bug fixes for your Mac.

• Security Keys for Apple ID allow users to strengthen the security of their account by requiring a physical security key to sign in
• Fixes an issue in Freeform where some drawing strokes created with Apple Pencil or your finger may not appear on shared boards
• Fixes an issue where VoiceOver may stop offering audio feedback while you are typing

- This update may break some of your Ventura functions. Make sure you backup first.

Note: Before you update:
- Clover users must first disable or remove BlueToolFixup.kext in order to update. Otherwise the software update doesn't initialize it crashes System 'Settings'.

Here's the step by step way to update OC:

Spoiler: Option 1 - Manually

- Make sure you use the latest versions of the Lilu.kext, AppleALC.kext and WhateverGreen.kext.

Backup your current installation using Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper;

Update to the latest Clover or OpenCore 0.8.8 or newer.

After completing the Update, reboot.
Upon reaching the Desktop, open the Terminal and execute:

nvram 4D1FDA02-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B30102:opencore-version

Confirm you have updated OC to 0.8.8 or newer.

Download the Ventura 13.2. Update from Apple's Mac App Store using System Preferences > Software Update, and run it - the updater will reboot upon completion.

Note: Update will reboot two times; each time Clover/OpenCore picks the correct boot partition. So, sit back and relax.​

Done! So far, another easy update!

25-minute update of macOS 13.2 (22D49) for my Z370 build with OpenCore 0.8.8

OTA still doesn’t work for mine.

Success using software update on my Dell desktop.
10 minutes of pre-boot creation, restart
10 minutes of pre-boot running, restart
10 minutes or so of boot into main system, with installation running. All works automatically.
OC 0.8.8 and latest released kexts.

Also note updates for my iOS 15 phone and my iOS 12 old iPad.

Standard problem with these Ventura updates. The first attempt with the smaller updater file fails, then when I try again, it downloads the larger updater, and it proceeds without any further problems.
