Smooth update on z390 board (GB Aorus) with i9900k and Radeon 5700XT.
OC 0.7.6. Refreshed kexts first.
Took about 20 to 25 minutes and two reboots.

Upgraded one CustoMac from Big Sur 11.6.1 to 12.1 - smooth as silk. The other 2 CustoMacs were already on Monterey, so uneventful. OC 0.7.6

The update took about 30 mins with 3 restarts. Nice and Easy. OpenCore to version 0.7.4

Now I try to upgrade from 12.0.1 to 12.1 and I face same problem. The hackintosh starts the Mac OS Installer then stops and reboots. I try several time and nothing seems to happen.

Easy Update and fast this time, too, with the newest OpenCore and Kexts.

Was an easy update. 20 mins tops. Prior to it, upgrade OpenCore from 0.7.4 to 0.7.6

Smooth Sailing. Updated to OC 0.7.6 first then did Monterey Upgrade from 11.6.1 -> 12.1 via System preferences. 3 restarts, about 30 minutes.
There is that scary moment, I think it was after the second restart, where there's a few minutes with no video output and my monitor went to sleep. Let it go as I could see the disk activity light working and eventually video returned .

I had to change SecureBootModel value from Disabled to the one corresponding to my SMBIOS profile in order to see the update. Once the update started downloading, I changed the value back to Disabled.
This was the same for me too.

I am using SMBIOS iMac19,1 with a 9600k.

No issues using OC 0.7.6
