macOS 11.6 Update

I was finally able to download the Big Sur 11.6 install application using software update on a 10.15.7 and a 10.14.6 system. Application version 16.8.00, Build version 20G165

However the MAS shows that the latest version is still 11.5.2.

Went from 10.14.6 to 11.6 straight. Updated OC to the 0.7.3 afterwards, that got rid om some weird error messages on booting(I already had these on Mojave). Seems to work OK. But it is early days yet.

Upgrade itself was uneventful. Just the way I like it.

MAS still shows 11.5.2 as the version of macOS Big Sur available. But if you download it you get 11.6!

Someone at Apple is asleep at the wheel and forgot to update the MAS Big Sur page.

no probs.

E7240 with OpenCore 0.6.3 and updated kexts - no issues!

My system won't support Monterrey, so I am staying on BigSur with same old bootloader until the machine dies
