Updated with no issues but for one. Usually the system would pick the right partition to boot from during the updated. But this time it would pick the wrong one, I had to manually pick the right one to update the system
Easiest update I've done for several years. I put that down to recently switching to OpenCore. When I was using Clover I would have to babysit the whole process and make sure it was booting from the correct partition each time. This update was smooth as butter. OC 0.7.2
Another quick and easy Big Sur update on my two daily drivers.
Both systems booting with OC 0.7.2 + latest 3rd party kext's.
Around 15 mins + 3 reboots once Software Update has finished it preparation stage.

Apple states that 11.5.2 is a big fix release but does not state which bugs it fixes ??
All good. Updated to OC 0.7.2 (that took longer than the update), then updated. Interesting that the first couple of restarts involved a text scroll rather than Apple logo/status bar, but after the third restart... Apple logo/status bar. Everything appears to work.
