Smooth update here. Updated to OC 0.7.2 first. As mentioned above first restart screens were verbose text but very swift process overall and no issues to report.

Updated, with a minor issue, when it finished my pc when into a reboot loop. I just powered off the pc, disconnected the power cable for 10 seconds, just to be sure. Turn and back on and it worked. Only "issue" now is my system definitions were deleted. But the update itself worked.

E7240 with OpenCore 0.6.3

After few restarts, the system was hanging with the Apple logo and progress bar not moving for 2 hours.

I forced a reboot, and it took 20 minutes before I could see the login screen.

Upgrade is completed. It seems that I won't have to do anything more for this Hackintosh until BigSur end-of-life.

No problems updating to 11.5.2 (20G95) on OC 0.6.9.
I just let it do the update and made a coffee in the meantime.

Updated first hackintosh Asus P7P55D-E i7 870 GT 710. I did however with a bootable USB (use only USB 3 sticks). I could not do it in another way. Make sure to take away all the kext that the hackintosh uses from S/L/E and leave, in the S/L/E, only the one that Apple uses. Place the usual kext for the hackintosh in the EFI “other” folder. I used Clover 5139 that seems very stable. A comment: My system is old (2008)

and with this update it's beginning to show the age (i.e., it is slower).
P.S. RealtekRTL811.Kext (Ver.2.4.2) works nicely (again).
