Pre Update Notes
- This update may break some of your Big Sur functions. Make sure you backup first. :thumbup:

- Make sure you use the latest versions of the Lilu.kext, AppleALC.kext and WhateverGreen.kext.

Here's the step by step way to update:
:ch:Backup your current installation using Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper;

:ch: Update to the latest Clover or OpenCore 0.7.1.
See the tonymacx86 Clover Builds (in Download menu) to update Clover. To update your OpenCore, see this guide. To convert from Clover to Open Core, see this guide.

Note: Before updating to Big Sur 11.5.1, see Acidanthera Updates: July 2021 for OC 0.7.1 updates.

Note #2: Before you update, make sure your USB ports are properly mapped. I recommend you use this procedure by @ohchang in his post here to do the USB port mapping or the USB ports will not work.

:ch: Download the Big Sur 11.5.1 Update from Apple's Mac App Store using System Preferences > Software Update, and run it - the updater will reboot upon completion.
Note: Update will reboot several times; each time Clover/OpenCore picks the correct boot partition. So, sit back and relax. The update takes 2-3 reboots and ~25 minutes to complete.

Easy update. No issues at all. OC 0.7.1

No issues with updated Lilu, AppleALC and WhateverGreen and OC .64 (...too lazy to track/update config changes with each release of OC). Three reboots and about 30 minutes.
Updated smoothly.
