macOS 11.4 Update

• Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
• Was already up to date on OC 0.6.9 with current kexts (ALC, Lilu, WhateverGreen).
• Last month, finally took the plunge and learned how to map USB ports using USBMap tool (https://github.com/corpnewt/USBMap), so never have to worry about that again.
• Today... clicked update... came back 30 minutes later... donzo.

3 reboots and 35 minutes later, 11.4 is up and running on OC 0.6.9. All kexts are one month old.

Just switchd from 11.4 Beta. OC0.6.9, currently no issues to report.

Had success installing Big Sur 11.4 on a Asus ROG Strix Z490 Intel 10700K with a Sapphire Nitro RX 6900 XT with graphic acceleration. So good so far.... Feeling good!

Updated via direct download; a couple of restarts, and sound, sleep, and USB working with no additional effort.

Works well after USB remap.

RX6800 support is here. The long wait has paid off.

First attempt…over 35 minutes and stuck on shutdown.

Second attempt…success after 40 minutes.

Software update goes through the motions of updating, but on reboot update installer is not available in OC Boot Menu. Booting into Big Sur Disk still shows 11.3.1. I tried downloading the full installer and the same result. It just goes through the motions, and OC doesn't see the update partition.

I had success by using a USB big sur 11.4 installer. I noticed Stork had a similar issue. Any idea's why?
