Today Apple released macOS 11.3.1 Update, a major software update to macOS Big Sur. Update any supported system using the built-in Software Update functionality through the macOS System Preferences pane.

What we know about the 11.3.1 Update so far...

• macOS Build 20E241
• Updated audio, graphics drivers
• Install macOS Big Sur App has been updated - If you downloaded macOS Big Sur from the App Store prior to today, and you want to have the latest version on your backup installer USB, simply log into the Mac App Store and click Download. The updated Install macOS Big Sur App can be found in the Applications folder.

25-minute update of macOS 11.3.1 (20E241) for my Z370 | 9600K | RX 580 build with OpenCore 0.6.9

No apparent issues with my 100 Series build. I had already mapped my USB ports using https://github.com/corpnewt/USBMap.

100 Series GA-Z170X-UD5 TH | i5 6600K | GeForce GT 740

No apparent problems with updating from 11.3 using OC 0.6.8. USB ports mapped with Hackintool.

Anyone know what this fixes? The link in the first post to the Apple support page has no information on what this update really fixes.

No corresponding updates for Mojave or Catalina (yet), so I am assuming it is a fix just for Big Sur. I wonder how long it will take before they are releasing 11.3.2, to fix yet another issue in Big Sur.

Worked no problem, updating using Clover 5134, and auto update.
