macOS 11.2 Update

Updated to OC 0.6.6, took a backup, and ran software update. 3 restarts and about 30 minutes later, boom, 11.2.

I have to reset NVRAM to see update showup. Sip Enabled is not affected.

For me too.
I had some artifact problems with rendering H264 on FCPX, but that seems fixed somehow.
I use 9700K + RX 5700 XT
Don't know if it's the Big Sur 11.2 or OC 0.6.6, but I'm happy.

For me, only with Catalina Update in the installation of Big Sur, being by the pen in the last reset of the stick, I can only update by Catalina 10.15.7 ai show of the ball without stress and using Clover 5129 and the newer kexts that came out just now. I prefer Clover and running smooth. I tested everything. I worked on it. I played on it all without problems.

After much fooling around I finally got Big Sur running on my ancient hardware. Had to install it on a different machine though. Booting and running without issues using latest Clover. As far as I can tell nothing broke, Sleep and Wake both working. Some apps are noticably laggy compared to Catalina so I might switch back – anyway, I'm quite happy that it's actually working on a first gen i7 rig.
