macOS 11.2.3 Update

Easy update on 068. I did it remotely from my MacBook Air to my hack.

Easy Peasy update to 11.2.3. Only took about 3 quick restarts (10mins +) and that's it. - OpenCore 0.64

Smooth update no issues, all is working as expected.

Didn’t seem to have the same success. Tried to update from initial 11.2 to 11.2.3. Updated OC 0.6.7 and all kexts.

Got an error platform isn’t supported. Which it is but running SMBIOS 15.1 Which worked for install.

Don't know what happened the first effort. Success from 11.2 to 11.2.3 using OC 0.6.7.

Three reboots and approx 20 minutes.

Catalina to Big Sur!!!! at last!
- Updated Lilu, whatevergreen, AppleALC.
- Deleted fakeSMC and replaced it with VirtualSMC
- Added the mandatory Quirks to my config.plist
And the old school bestie is fresh like new!!
(Unfortunately, OpenCore still remains an unsolvable puzzle for this CPU... but Ii will get there.)

RX580 is doing some ... digging ... so I replaced it with a K600. Worked out of the box[
