macOS 11.1 Update

Smooth update with OpenCore 0.6.4 and latest kexts. OpenCore is the best. It works like a real Mac.

Smoothest update of every time with twice OC: OpenCore 0.6.4 and OverClock (@4.8 GHz).
Spent about 30 mins with 4 reboots. Everything with right volume choosen by OpenCore within my dual boot W10 and BSur. Awesome

After lurking around the site for many years...thought it was about time to come clean and post something.

Successful update on my faux-mini...Lenovo ThinkCenter M73 beast. Update had already downloaded when I started, so the process only took about 17 minutes. Also have a triple-boot Lenovo x1 carbon (4th) that I will be updating after I get OC 0.6.4 updated on it.

I appreciate all the effort and information on this site. It's been a real adventure.

Fresh install of 11.1 using OC 0.6.4 on HP 8300 Elite SFF (Ivy Bridge) with GT710 worked on the first try. Everything works like real Mac.

Upgraded from 11.0.1 to 11.1 on OC 0.6.4, and it went perfectly. No issues at all.

Waiting anxiously for 11.2 no more has some cool bugs but I only managed to get the last clover and install Catalina and then update Big Sur, other than that the Wi-Fi Atheros still doesn't work here with me on the Acer Notebook 6 Skylake Generation.
More video sound perfect local network and when I boot when the system enters I have to unplug the HDMI monitor and plug it out again, the rest works. Adobe corel adobe plugins works i am using good in games windows 10 is still the best 20H2 it looks fantastic now i recovered hd in Big Sur too
finally it is working to work the mojave is very good for hackintosh but when you upgrade to big sur the apps are duplicated there I recommend only for Catalina update ok hug to all good 2021.


plus Asphalts games play very well 8 and 9

Upgraded from Catalina 10.15.7 to 11.1 on latest OC 0.6.5.
About 4 restarts & 20 minutes.
No issues!
