macOS 10.15 Catalina is Now Available on the Mac App Store

Mine keeps getting stuck here during boot.

What we know about 10.15.0 so far...
  • macOS Build 19A583
  • 32-bit Apps will not run on macOS Catalina.
  • Updated Intel, NVIDIA, and AMD graphics drivers
    • NVIDIA Alternate Graphics Drivers have NOT been updated for macOS Mojave/Catalina. Users of NVIDIA Maxwell or Pascal graphics cards should stay on macOS High Sierra.
    • Catalina Graphics Support: AMD Radeon HD 7xxx and higher, Intel HD 4000 and higher, NVIDIA 6xx and 7xx 'Kepler'
    • Intel HD 630 graphics users may need to add -disablegfxfirmware at Clover boot screen
  • Updated audio drivers.
    • Updated AppleALC, Lilu, and WhateverGreen may be required. Download here.
  • Updated USB drivers
    • New Raise Port Limit patch required for some systems. See here for details.

There Will be NVIDIA drivers for Catalina?

Updated Clover using recommended procedure for going from 2.4 to 2.5. Installed latest versions of AppleALC, Lilu, WhateverGreen using command line, then updated directly from 10.14.5 to 10.15. No issues other than my Logitech unifying received stopped working (fixed with a firmware and software update, known issue).

I do have a SSDT set up, so USB 2 and 3 work correctly.

Catalina on TninkPad Yoga 12 works fine except that when turned on, the image ripples, but it is worth closing the lid of the laptop and opening again the image becomes normal. Someone can tell what is the reason?

Upgrade went smoothly enough here. On boot I had purple graphics and no sound, but reinstalling Whatevergreen, lilu and AppleALC did the trick.

I also had no internet, but when I went into network settings I found my Wireguard connection going haywire - jumping up and down the network priority list. Had to delete all the connections there, reboot and then add them again. Not sure if this is Hackintosh specific, Catalina generally or just a Wireguard problem, but thought id mention it in case anyone else has the same issue.
