macOS 10.15.7 Update

All smooth so far, updated last night. No issues, but nothing has been improved too.

Update went smooth, lilu/weg/clover/alc latest, random freezes @ random times

After removing RTCMemoryFixup.kext everything ok!

Clover 5119. First tried starting the update from Update pane of System Preferences and walking away. Came back a bit later to find it still on 10.15.6. Today I started the update again and just stayed around to monitor it while cleaning up the office. On the 2nd (or 3rd....) restart I had to manually select the Install Mac OS Preboot or else it would have booted on the unchanged 10.15.6 SSD. Once I did that the update completed successfully and the machine is now on 10.15.7. I had to do this on the 10.15.6 update so I guess it's just the nature of the beast.

All went well here... updated directly from "Software Update" and took about 20 minutes or so with multiple reboots.

Success! Latest kexts with Clover 5119, a few reboots and it took about 20 mins. Clover selected the right boot entries but ended up selecting Boot FileVault Prebooter from Preboot as usual. Then I restarted and selected Boot macOS from Macintosh HD.

Success! With OpenCore 0.6.1 it took 9 minutes and 40 seconds. I did not update kexts.

Success, but had to reset NVRAM using clover F11 at boot, and had to use the spoof graphic ID 0x12345678 to get through install.

Thanks so much for this! This got me through the install for the first time in months!

Migrated to OpenCore with 10.15.6, and update to 10.15.7 went smoothly.
