@ALL,

I was surprised at how quickly this supplemental update came around after the 10.15.5 update that was released just two days ago. The Apple website states that it is primarily a security update but i cant help thinking that Apple may have left a few unresolved bugs in the 10.15.5 update that required a quick fix via this supplemental update.

For me this was yet another quick and easy update.

I did not do anything special prior to this update other than making a backup.
All my systems are running Clover 5107, 3rd party kexts where already up to date and installed in /L/E.

Haswell Desktop System (full spec in my sig) :-

HP Spectre X360 Laptop (full spec in my sig) :-

The update took 24 mins on both systems with three reboots.

Cheers

This does not seem to work for me. System Preferences keep showing that the update needs to be installed but every attempt after restart seems to complete but the update does not seem to install

Download the supplemental update.

With this update now HDR is working with my 4K LG TV...

Updated from Catalina 10.15.4(19E287) right to 10.15.5 (19F101) without any problems..
1. Updated Clover Configurator to ver. 5.14.0.0
2. Update Lilu, WhatEverGreen and AppleALC, placing them in your /EFI/.../Clover/kexts/other/.
3. Updated to 10.15.5 from App Store.
4. Choose download and restart option.
5. The 1st boot stated 40min to complete.
6. After 15 - 20 mins the 2nd boot stated 15mins to complete.
7. After 13 - 15 mins the 3rd booted quickly into 10.15.5...

NOTE: Boots 1 and 2 need to boot from the correct disk ( Install ) after each restart.
Used Clover r5107 with no issues.

opencore 0.5.9 from 10.15.5 (19F96) to (19F101) easy!
Do we need to update to opencore 0.5.9 before update Mac to 10.15.15 (19F101) cause I using 0.5.8 and update from 10.5.5 (19F96) to (19F101) and it failed.??

MacRumors states that it may fix the unc0ver jailbreak vulnerability along with iOS and iPadOS updates. unc0ver uses a vulnerability in macOS Mail app to install Altstore's Mail Plugin. Once installed Altstore app can install its iOS version (which then installs unc0ver within iOS to jb the device) from macOS to the iPhone or iPad connected to Mac/Hack via USB. Xcode is also involved for another way to jb an iDevice from macOS.
