macOS 10.14.6 Supplemental Update

Is the Supplemental-Update still needed, with the newest Combo-Update?

My update started but got stuck at a tiny portion of the progress bar. Not wanting to powercycle it after about an hour or so, I decided to unplug the TP-Link Archer T4U - V3 USB stick. It then went on to install fine....

Hi Guys & Girls ...

Just updated all three machines in my signature to the 10.14.6 Supplemental Update V2
To save time I downloaded the stand-alone updater linked in post #1.
I did not update Clover or any kexts prior to the update (Clover 5045, Lilu 1.3.8 + point release plug-ins)


No issues at all with installing the the update on all three systems.
Just the usual 3 reboots (2 on my laptop) and then rebuild kext cache after the update completed.
Took around 15 mins on each machine ...

Updated through software update without any issue. It took about 15 minutes and 2 reboots.

For all those with AMD cards, the typical pink stripes during boot are gone after the updated. Update went fine.
