Upgraded Clover to r4920 + kexts. I do notice that purple lines at boot - specifically when the boot sequence goes from the apple logo to logon screen. Thankfully it goes away in the logon screen. Everything else seems to be fine.

Mine went smooth after downloading the whole image (updater only would just restart after reaching installer screen), but had no restarts at all until it was finished. Up and running now with SMBios iMac 19,1 (have to fix Shutdown though), -no_compat_check not required anymore and AQC107 Firmware reported to be updated to 2.11.8. Everything seems fine so far (also got those sexy pink lines during boot).

All went good except the BCM94352Z was detected as "Third-party wireless card". Rebuilt the kext cache and came back to normal as "AirPort Extreme". This happens after every update btw.

Updated and now no Wifi. Says "WiFi: No Hardware Installed". How did you Rebuilt the kext cache as that might be my solution?

In Terminal:
sudo kextcache -i /
Make sure you have the latest Lilu.kext and AirportBrcmFixup.kext.

Very smooth update, only had to install a WI Fi kext.

What about the apfs.efi file? Is that still a thing? Do I have to include this file in the EFI partition?
If you update to the latest Clover version or the Clover in the latest MultiBeast for Mojave, then you no longer need the apfs.efi file.

Updated this morning without issues or pink lines. Made a backup first, temp removed my external devices(disks etc), updated with the combo updater, tested a bit, reattached my devices.
I have been using 10.14.5 all day , without issues. My AMD 480 now properly decodes 10-bit HEVC 4K movies. Nice!
The move from 10.13.1 to 10.14.4 was quite a lot of work, this dot upgrade was easy.

Of course those stupid purple lines (picture is a bit shaky). The Sapphire RX 570 Nitro + works as usual.

This is a solid upgrade for my Skylake and AMD RX 580 build. 5 days 6 hours uptime with sleep and Power Nap enabled.
