I guess the kext is not the problem, this we can solve via SIP disabled i guess? But the whole apolication needs to be signed via apple, apple wants to check with notarization every app before it could be used on mac os...

I am wondering what the open source community thinks about this. The apple statement sounds like they want to enforce that every app on macOS needs notarization. That means two things (from my understanding): 1. You need a developer id which costs 99$/y 2. You need to get all your binaries signed by this notarization service of Apple.

I am pretty sure that the hackintosh community will find a way to fix this, if necessary. So there is still no end (the end will come when Apple drops Intel CPUs in favor of its own arm CPUs). But the impact for honest Mac users may be more severe. They do not have the tools to disable this - maybe. "By default" can mean anything from enforced until hell freeze over to disabled by just toggling a switch button.
