macOS 10.13.6 Update

Gotta remember to download the new Clover builds from Tonymacx86... and not use the updater in Control Panel! All is well, sound is working. Thanks, all!

Skylake with RX560 black screen after update:

- Upgrade clover
- Upgrade lilu
upgrade = black screen
- connected remotely with VNC, then added IntelGraphicsFixup.kext
- fixed!

I need all three: lilu, whatevergreen AND IntelGraphicsFixup.kext

Did the update, from start to finish was 11 minutes. Unfortunately, I now have the pink screen with the RX560. I removed the card and no more pink screen. I thought my troubles were over when I dumped the Nvidia card :( Anyone out there know of a solution? And no sound.

Sound is back, removed Lilu and WhateverGreen, still pink screen.

Tried RadeoDeInit, still pink
Yep!
I got the RX560 with a pink screen after 10.13.6 update also.
I rolled back to 10.13.5 from a clone on my H270 and it's fine again.
Tried a bunch of stuff to fix it but still no joy as yet.
Even swapped the front end on another drive from another Z370 install (running on internal gpu) and booted it in the H270 with the RX560.
Same deal!
Shocking pink.......:(

Updated through the App Store with Clover 4558, system definition iMac17,1. No problems.

Interestingly, on 10.13.6 mounting the EFI volume using diskutil now requires privilege:

Is this expected behaviour, or am I doing something wrong?

Updated with a few hiccups, but now everything seems to be running fine. :)

Here's my steps:
1. updated Clover to 4586
2. updated system to 10.13.6 17G65 via App Store
3. ran into issues > the machine wouldn’t do anything after passing the clover drive selection menu anymore > turned out the previously used driver OsxAptioFix3Drv-64.efi had been removed by the Clover 4586 installer > had to boot from my USB stick thereafter and rerun the Clover 4586 installer but this time including the AptioMemoryFix-64.efi driver
4. second attempt at updating system to 10.13.6 17G65 via App Store
5. changed SIP in Clover Configurator (CsrActiveConfig) to 0x67
6. rebooted
7. updated vulgo’s webdriver.sh (https://github.com/vulgo/webdriver.sh) to 1.5.2
8. installed NVIDIA Web Driver 378.10.10.10.25.103 with
Code:
./webdriver --list
and following the instructions in the CLI
9. changed SIP in Clover Configurator (CsrActiveConfig) back to to 0x3
10. copied apfs.efi from /usr/standalone/i386/ to /EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI/ with updated version
11. rebooted

Ok after I start the update install and it reboots, I am supposed to choose the install OSX option for the drive I am installing the update on? Is this correct?
With the Clover bootloader, after downloading and restarting with the 10.13.6 update, you may see three options for the disk you want to update:
  • "Boot OSX install from..." Do not use.
  • "Boot macOS from..." Do not use. This is the standard boot into your disk.
  • "Boot macOS install from..." Use this option until it disappears after a restart; then boot into your disk normally to finish the update process.

Installed without a problem with the combo update.
Now I have the "rainbow color" effect on type like others already reported.
Is there a fix for that?

For me, using DP was the issue. Switched to HDMI and rainbow effect went away.
