macOS 10.13.5 Update

Status
Not open for further replies.
Updated Clover to 4509 and had the missing icon issue. Fixed that by booting with old USB and reinstalling with correct boxes checked. Ran update from MAS and went through two reboots. No problems to report.

After updating everything went fine, but every time I reboot my laptop this shows up before showing the Apple logo, does anybody know how to remove it?

Problem Reporting files are attached.

It is just output from the APFS.
If you don't use APFS then remove apfs.efi from/EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI/.
If you do use APFS then the output can be suppressed with a hacked apfs.efi - Use the forum Search tool for details.

See Post #2.

Thanks! I Just added a modified APFS.efi to DRIVERS64UEFI in Clover and it worked, no more random text of any kind.

just make the update and install the new Nvidia driver and all works perfect.

Once I updated to 10.13.5, the display port does not work. HDMI port works. I would like to have the display port back. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

After updating whatevergreen and lilu kexts, DP is back.

Same problem here... Tried changing SMIBIOS to something newer, tried disabling kexts, downloading update in safe mode etc. Nothing works for me. Any idea how to fix that? I remember going from Sierra to High Sierra was also troublesome.

My setup is: newest Clover + 10.13.4 + Intel i7 2600k + Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3-B3.

hello,

I am having serious problems with the port limit patch, I installed in my machines the 10.13.5, and in my X299 with my Core i9 only works one USB 3.0, in my Z370 the ports don't work the USB 3.0 at all, only if I connect a USB 2.0 device it works in all ports, but doesn't recognize a USB 3.0 devices. I am using Clover 4558, but I tried older versions just in case, but no. I am also tried in a friends PC with a Z170-UD3 mainboard but the ports don't work either there too.

I am using the 10.13.4 USB Patch Limit, with no positive results. Hope someone have a clue what is going on...
Hi bro, I have also this same problem with the usb 3.0 after update, I've solved this chang the value "10.13.4 in 10.13.5" under the heading "MatchOS" in clover configurator under the session "Kernel and Kext patches"...

I hope I have been helpful!!!
