Once again, with the “we want things easy”... having trouble finding 1.2.7 already compiled. . Do you have a link? Thank you.

Well, in this case, not so easy. I got if from this thread, and I had to go through a few posts to find it: https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/t...amous-lag-issue-why-is-that-happening/?page=6

You might want to try and compile it. It's on github: https://github.com/lvs1974/NvidiaGraphicsFixup

Keep in mind that this is a very new version and may have bugs....

Update directly from AppStore-Updates
All works fine: sound, video and al system, without any additional work

Thanks, will use some insecticide on the bugs first! ;)
If I'm reading the "tea Leaves" correctly, there are those who think NVIDIA has incorporated the 1.2.7 kext into the latest driver? I suppose these are guesses. In the mean time, with this update and the .107 driver, plus the new Z370+8700k (o/c to 5mhz) this is the most stable, fully functional build (for me) to date. Could not be happier. And thank you for your help.

looks like nvidia fixed their performance on the 30.107.

I updated the driver via Terminal

Code:
bash <(curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Benjamin-Dobell/nvidia-update/master/nvidia-update.sh) 387.10.10.10.30.107

No more slow performance. Smooth AF :headbang:

Motherboard: Z170X Gaming (Gigabyte)

Fill in you personal details in Profile Page so people know what your hardware is.

Look at this, don't know if this is your problem: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...uld-not-be-installed-on-your-computer.235815/

Which Mother board do you have? That should also be part of the info.
