macOS 10.13.3 Update

Update went fine, just had to replace the FakeSMC.kext and now I have to wait for NVIDIA to update their WebDriver.

Updated from 10.13.2 Supplemental to 10.13.3. Only issue found was after the update I had to reinstall my sound drivers.

I just click update and choice boot from update in clover, nothing else, and my skull canyon work like a charm now, thanks clover and tonymacx86

I had issues with APFS before on my Samsung 850 evo. Do you think 10.13.3 fixed this? Should I convert back to APFS?

Updated without issues. Waiting for nvidia drivers...

Edit: forced old nvidia drivers with webdriver.sh.

maybe studpid question, but how do you force the old nvidia drivers?

I have an 850 EVO of 1 To too. I've experienced a disk corruption at start too but I stayed in APFS. Always have a Time Machine backup.

It has worked okay since using HFS+ apart from the occasional freezes but I am not sure if that is related to the SSD.

Your freezes are related to not using iGPU, turn it on and inject and you'll be fine
