Just noticed the kind of detail you don't usually expect ...

Dashboard seems to have been repaired at last. It struck me some time ago that Apple might be abandoning it and a bug or two had appeared. I use the Dictionary and Thesaurus extensively as a pop-up but the panel frame was deformed along the bottom and cut off the last line of text. I even wondered if it was actually a Hackintosh thing, but no, happened on my genuine Mac too.

Now, with the latest release it's been mended and works and looks just as it should.

A small thing, but much appreciated (and possibly a bit boring for most )

:)

Yes, it is important for me, I need to Know the different hours of many different cities, so I put a lot of clocks with the proper hour in the dashboard it is much faster than browsing.

Today Apple released 10.12.6, the sixth major update to macOS Sierra. Update any supported system using the built-in Software Update functionality through the Mac App Store, or by using the standalone installer available from Apple.com.

Be sure to back up any important data, and if possible clone your hard drive before applying the update. If you have any issues post-update, boot using UniBeast created USB, press spacebar, and boot using Safe Mode.

What we know about 10.12.6 so far...
  • macOS Build 16G29
  • Kernel updated to Darwin 16.7.0
  • Native support for Intel's 7th generation 'Kaby Lake' CPUs.
  • Updated Intel, NVIDIA, and AMD graphics drivers
  • This update will replace your audio drivers. If you enabled Realtek onboard audio using MultiBeast or the cloverALC script, no changes will be necessary.
  • Install macOS Sierra App has been updated - If you downloaded macOS Sierra from the App Store prior to today, and you want to have the latest version on your backup installer USB, simply log into the Mac App Store and click Download. The updated 10.12.6 Install macOS Sierra App can be found in the Applications folder. You may then re-create your UniBeast installation USB.
Testing is now underway- this post will be updated. Good luck, and let us know how it goes! Report your results here.

Updated my mac from 10.12.4 directly to 10.12.6. Had issue with Intel HD 530, because I didn't installed Lilu and ...Fixup kexts before :). But solved the issue by changing the Graphics identifier at Clover Configuration from 0x1912... to dummy value 0x123456. After successfully booted and installed required kexts. All does work correct.

Installing Lilu.kext + NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext to 'EFI/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.12' partition fix issue with suspending Monitor with Nvidia graphics card

Thanks for reply my dear friend, i`ll try to do this way.
Before to update i need to put this kexts inside of EFI on my internal hard drive in my mac partition right? and this way i still need to change my clover configurator as you did?
My Motherboard is KABY LAKE DELL and my Video hardware is: Placa de vídeo NVIDIA® GeForce® 940MX de 4GB, GDDR5
Do you know if i'll works this way?
thanks again my dear friend!

App store update so smooth I went to bed and woke up in 10.12.6!
I use iMac17,1 and my black screen solution involves Lilu.kext & NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext, it worked.

edit: audio survived, enabled it using multibeast. Trim survived.

Hello! Updated directly from app store, did nothing extra but updating Nvidia drivers (which was made automatically, Nvidia is very good on that). Just did my backup with time machine wihch, by the way, it can be recovered with clover, I did it once that I screwed my installation when trying to update my USB3 drivers.

So, in preparing to update my 9 series machine from El Capitan to Sierra I wanted to clone my hard drive. However the machine will not recognize the USB 3 external drive despite having done so before (I have previously created a clone of the Mac drive). This led me to investigate the issue a little and I discovered that I appear only to have USB 2 ports on the XHCI controller and that I have the GenericUSBXHCI.kext installed. I suspect that this is not the correct configuration for my motherboard (ASRock H97M ITX) and that I should really be using the FakePCIID and FakePCIID_XHCIMux kexts together with the patch to increase the number of ports.

So my question is this - should I work on modifying the configuration of the USB ports or should I simply do the update to Sierra and then worry about the USB port configuration. If I update to Sierra would it just be a case of then using Multibeast to install the Series 9 kext and the increased number of ports followed by port identification and excluding those not required? If I need to fix USB prior to upgrading can I do that by running MultiBeast to install the correct kexts as well as changing the definition to 14,1.

Appreciate feedback on how best to proceed.
