macOS 10.12.6 Update

Updated via App Store. No problems were encountered and no reinstallations of drivers were needed.

what's the upgrade procedure for RehabMan's patcher script for NVME drives? do I upgrade to 10.12.6, then apply RehabMan's patcher script? if so? how do I do it since 10.12.6 requires a reboot?

of course I'll wait for RehabMan to patch 10.12.6, but just wondering what's the general process like.
A second or external drive makes it simple. And in my experience the old NVME drivers still work if you delete the original Apple version in S/L/E

Intel HD 4400 Desktop Pc....!!!

Does anyone know if I have 6700k and would install 7700k instead, do I need to reinstall macOS or it will just show up and I will be able to keep working as usual?

You don't need to reinstall macOS. You will need to make a few changes to your config.plist.
