Combo update without any lost. Everything works.

Meanwhile you can set the NVDARequiredOS tag in the /S/L/E/NVDAStartupWeb.kext/Contents/Info.plist to 16D32. Reboot.
Works like a charm.

Worked!!

may I ask why? as far as I understood it the patch (including spoofing + acpi patch) is supposed to survive an update..?
Don't ask me, as RehabMan. But, Apple has changed the IONVMeFamily.kext in the past (not lately, though). So, that's why I want you to be aware and to check with RehabMan.

It does survive.
But of course, you eventually want to update your HackrNVMeFamily such that it is based on the IONVMeFamily that corresponds to the system you're running.

Updated from the App Store without a hitch.

Worked on Samsung 960 Pro M.2 NVMe SSD 512. But need NVIDIA Web Driver.

If I am booted off an NVMe ssd, I just have to create a patched kext for 10_12_3, install it S/L/E and then I am good to update?
