Hi all

I need some advice on how to solve a problem. My wife dumped coffee into our Macbook air 2012 Edition with 128GB NVME SSD. I have been looking for some kind of external case that I can install the ssd in so i can attach it to my iMac and recover files off of it? Any recommendations? I found plenty of PCIe adapters but no external adapters.

Thanks in advance

The SSDs in those MacBook Airs use proprietary connectors and are not standard NVMe SSDs.

That being said, the only external enclosure that I am aware of for those SSDs are the OWC Envoy Pro. However, as far as I know, they are only sold as part of a kit which includes an SSD for those wishing to upgrade their MacBook Airs.
