I am going to replace my Gigabyte H87-D3H + E3-1231v3 with Sierra 10.2.2 already installed and working with zero problems for MSI X99S SLI PLUS + E5-2658V3. What I need to update after replacing the hw. My VGA is GTX970. Thnx

thanks! I read the instructions on the AppleHDA page but not 100% sure how it works. Do I also need a custom SSDT or any changes to Clover config.plist?

Just add Audio ID=9(DSDT/SSDT)
with regular config.plist(no need to change)

Thanks! I misunderstood what was meant by making this work. I thought that I could use Creative's control panel and features once I got audio working, but I see this is only for basic control through preferences. I am going to stick with my USB Creative Omni DAC that comes with full Creative control panel, including system wide EQ. Amazing that Mac OS still doesn't support system wide EQ like Windows has had for many generations.

Does anyone know if this will work with an asus x99 e-ws motherboard? I've heard they are troublesome due to the number of ports they have. I've only found one person who's gotten them working and that was for yosemite

I believe Nick Woodhams has it working. Do a search.
