Hello,

no more contemporary big wild cats ....
and some are/were synonymous ...
puma = mountain lion = cougar
bobcat = red lynx
panther = black jaguar or black leopard

only some smaller ones are left :
ocelot (south america, extremely rare, imho most beautiful fur design)
civet cat (asia, extinct in africa and europe)

i would go for ocelot for 10.9 and then 11.0 should start with a different animal family like reptiles, insects or the one with badgers, beavers,minks and the mighty wolverine in it....

i really liked the ideas fat cat, garfield, house cat/kitty, sabertooth a.s.o.

have a nice one ....

I don´t think it will be Bobcat, because it´s the codename for AMDs mobile APUs.

I think you just can´t top Lion/Mountain Lion.
