Re: Mac OS X 10.7.3 Update - The Official Thread

Update went perfectly on my GA-Z68X-UD3. Updated from 10.7.2 using from Apple menu. Reboot and everything has been working fine. Restored sound by fixing AppleHDA.

Re: Mac OS X 10.7.3 Update - The Official Thread

All went well with a Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3-F9 i7 2600k and 16gb of RAM.

Had a KP on first boot, now booting normally. Did Apple HDA rollback and ALC8xxHDA

Sound perfect, video perfect.

Re: Mac OS X 10.7.3 Update - The Official Thread

I'm going to do the update for my CustoMac Mini (2011) with the Gigabyte H61 board and wanted to make sure of the steps that I will be doing to update. I am currently using just the standard HD3000 graphics (no discrete card) with the onboard audio. Basically, this computer is used as an HTPC for my household.

1. Clone SSD boot drive to external/internal HDD
2. Download Combo Update
3. Install Combo Update
4. Run the AppleHDA Rollback (to get HDMI audio working again?)
5. Reboot
6. ???
7. Profit?!

Please let me know if there is something else I need to do for HDMI audio. That is easily the biggest thing that HAS to work for this build and it took me a while to figure out how to get it to work the first time (had to use this threads' last post http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=htt...=43885&p=280805&fb_source=message&h=TAQG1dbCk ). Thanks in advance guys!!

Re: Mac OS X 10.7.3 Update - The Official Thread

Successful on a Z68AP-D3 using the same method as everyone else. Created my hackintosh starting at 10.7.2 and this was my first update. So easy.

Re: Mac OS X 10.7.3 Update - The Official Thread

Successful on a P7P55D :)
